Recently, French luxury brand Celine released a new campaign pictorial with V, representing the brand.
This campaign, which was held in France in October last year, is even more meaningful as a portrait series in which artistic director Hedi Slimane personally leads the entire process from artist selection to styling and photography. Through this campaign, V continues the lineage of legendary musicians such as Bob Dylan and Jack White who participated in the portrait series.
This filming, which was conducted in top secrecy, was conducted under tight security, and staff other than Hedi Slimane and V were not even allowed to enter the site, raising expectations. Hedi Slimane, a legendary figure in the fashion world, and V, who is writing a new history as a pop icon, completed the pictorial by capturing the interaction between the two without filtering through the viewfinder.
In the pictorial, V perfectly displays the rock chic style through the black and white mood campaign image, showing off his explosive presence by wearing a black embroidery western shirt and aviator sunglasses. In addition, the pictorial cut that matched the leather jacket and black AVA bag also boasted the aura of a global superstar with its unique dreamy yet intense eyes.
