'Joseon's Lovers' couple Im Ra-ra and Son Min-soo recalled their obscure days when they were short of money.

In the TV Chosun entertainment show 'Joseon's Lover' that aired on the 16th, Lim Ra-ra and Son Min-soo were shown going on an ordinary date for the first time in a long time.

The two headed to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Lara Im said, "I graduated from a physical education college, so I have a big stomach. When I exercise, I don't gain weight even when I eat, but my stomach gets bigger, so I have to go on a diet for the rest of my life." Son Min-su was happy to see Im Lara eating deliciously. The two emptied 37 plates of conveyor belt sushi.

After leaving the store, Lara Im and Minsu Son had many fans who recognized them on the way. Those who headed to the cafe recalled their days when they were poor and unknown.

Lara Im confessed, "I like coffee, but my habit was to say, 'I drank coffee.' I didn't have 4,000 won, so when my colleagues asked me to drink coffee, I lied and said, 'I drank it.' That's why I still have coffee." Son Min-soo said, “I promised myself that once I made money, I would not skimp on the cost of Lara’s coffee.”

Im Ra-ra continued to confess that on the day Son Min-soo, who was her friend, mustered up the courage to confess, “I started to look like a man.” Everyone cheered at the heart-pounding confession story. Lara Im said, “After hearing the confession, I started to think positively of him, saying, ‘Yes, people are okay.’ So, you need the courage to confess.”

The couple announced that they will get married in May. Son Min-su said with tears in his eyes, "I imagined going to a wedding, and I shed a few tears." Lara Im said, “I will live happily ever after.” Lara Im confessed, "I once wrote a letter saying, 'If we don't have money next year, let's break up for each other'. I said that if we don't want to break up, we have to work hard." Imra said, "We are both unknown comedians and poor, so we couldn't get married because we didn't have money. We also said that if we fought over money and things didn't get better, we would let each other go on good terms. It's amazing that it ended up like this."
