Chef Hoyoung Jeong expressed his thoughts on appearing on 'I Like Tuesday Nights', which was featured as a Lunar New Year special.
In a phone interview with Ten Asia on the 25th, Hoyoung Jeong recalled the moment he went on stage for 'I Like Tuesday Nights'.
He cheered up, saying, "I was very nervous because singing is not my main job. The people who appeared on the show with me were members of the same Thought Entertainment family and were close friends, so it gave me strength."
Previously, Jung Ho-young appeared on TV Chosun's 'I Like Tuesday Nights' and showed off his extraordinary stage control and chemistry with members of his agency, Saengkak Entertainment.
Jung Ho-young selected singer Song Dae-kwan's 'Four Beats' on the stage of 'I Like Tuesday Nights'. Thinking about that time, he said, “I was so nervous when I went on stage holding the microphone and saw the people, I was shaking all the time,” and “But when I actually started singing, I think I enjoyed it.”
There was a reason for the tension to ease. It is thanks to the company family who reliably stood by Jeong Ho-young's side. Jeong Ho-young expressed his gratitude, saying, "(The company family) knew that I was nervous. They cheered me on and told me not to be nervous. In particular, his feelings for his close younger brother Kim Ho-jung were special. He revealed an anecdote, saying, "Hojoong is my close younger brother. He is my younger brother and an experienced singer. I am grateful to him for his support. Before going on stage, he gave me advice that I should have clear pronunciation to get good scores."
He also said, "I became close with Hojoong while doing a diet program together in the past. The reason I joined the company was because of Hojoong's recommendation."
Hoyoung Jeong's 'Four Beats' performance was not just a performance to enjoy. He smiled and said, "I practiced a lot. Actually, the song 'Four Beats' is popular. I thought it would be easy to sing, but it was difficult to maintain the pitch or continue the emotions until the end of the song. "

He continued, "There were restrictions on business hours and the number of people in a gathering. Customers weren't coming, but that didn't mean we could fire our hard-working employees. We used our savings or took out bank loans to maintain the store. If you look at the amount alone, about 300 million won was lost. “I think so,” he said, expressing his honest feelings.
For Jeong Ho-young, appearing on TV became a source of energy in a difficult situation. Jeong Ho-young said, "I can't go on broadcasting just because I like it. I'm really grateful just for being invited. Since there are so many stores, there are times when I'm only focused on running the store. Appearing on broadcasts is a gift that heals the body and mind that are tired from running the store. “I think so,” he said.
Lastly, he also expressed his sincerity toward the restaurant industry. He said, "I hope there will be a program that highlights chefs.
