Byeolbam, a retired racehorse that Gilstory has chosen this time, was a racehorse at Seoul Horse Racing Park from 2008 to 2011. After retiring from the military, he traveled to various horseback riding centers for about 10 years before being rescued from an abandoned farm in Buyeo, South Chungcheong Province, in August of last year. When it was found, it was so dry that its ribs were exposed, and its hind legs were so swollen from the long labor of carrying people that it was unable to walk properly. Byeolbam, which was rescued by a citizen's tip and the Animal Freedom Alliance, is currently being cared for at a sanctuary in Jeju.
