Interview with Tay about the musical ‘Ludwig: Beethoven the Piano’
Singer and musical actor Tei commented on the comment that became a hot topic, 'It's celebrity x honey.'
On February 1, Tay told various stories about the musical 'Ludwig: Beethoven the Piano' at Daehakro, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
'Ludwig: Beethoven the Piano' is a work that sheds light on the human side of Beethoven, the world's greatest composer. It is an original musical that dramatically captures Beethoven's intense agony about his musical talent between admiration and jealousy for Mozart.
Tay plays Ludwig in the play. Ludwig is a young man from Beethoven's youth who struggles with self-doubt and suffering, denying everything including his dreams, piano, and life.
'Ludwig: Beethoven the Piano' is currently in its 4th year, starting with its premiere in 2018. Tay has been appearing since the reenactment in 2018.
Previously, Tay appeared on the YouTube channel 'Moby Dick' and said, "I jokingly asked my friend (Lee) Seok-hoon, 'Should I open a store too?' and jokingly said, 'No, the singer is a fucking honey.' It was broadcast. It has become official. It means that what you are doing is the best. Even if you try something new, nothing is easier than what you used to do,” he said, garnering attention.
On this day, Tay said, "I said that comment on TV, but I didn't know it would be featured on TV. I didn't even know it would be made into a meme. However, 'Ludwig: Beethoven the Piano' is not honey. Even from a musical actor's perspective, it is far from honey. It is absolutely not honey." He emphasized.
Tei, who started by saying, 'Corruption in the industry', said, "I want to tell you that what you do is X honey. If you jump into it thinking that celebrities are X honey, it is no different from business. It is a natural pain and hardship, but business is a second refuge. “I’m afraid he will run easily, like it’s a second challenge.”
Tay said, "I can do this because the people around me are celebrities and I am a celebrity. It was a remark made with the concept of 'It's harder than I thought,' 'This isn't it,' and 'It's easier to do.'" He added, "It was something I could say because I'm Seokhun. “He explained.
