Trot singer Kim Da-hyun returned for the New Year.
Dahyun Kim held a showcase to commemorate the release of her 2nd full-length album 'Fifteen' at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 2 pm on the 2nd.
A total of three songs were selected as title songs in this new album. Additionally, the album contains a total of 19 songs, including ‘Mom’, ‘Above’, and ‘Now I Understand’.
There are 10 composers who participated in the album work, and looking at the composers, it is expected to be a blockbuster Trot album.
Previously, the 'Mom' music video filming site was revealed and attracted attention. 'Mom' is a song that contains Kim Da-hyun's earnest feelings for her mother, the youngest daughter among four siblings.
Kim Da-hyun herself sings the chorus for the children's song theme, 'Mom, let's live by the river', which is inserted into the song's interlude, and will make you feel a warm emotion deep in your heart.
On this day, Kim Da-hyeon said, "I have been singing pansori since I was 4 years old. I have been improving my singing skills along the way. I have been singing trot since I was 7 years old. Now I can introduce it as 'Korean traditional music trot.'"
He continued, "The full album came out after two years. I sang and recorded hard. At first, my father wanted 'Happiness', 'Courtesy', and 'filial piety' as the album name. Although I was still young at 15, I thought it was a time for me to grow up. “That’s why I put everything aside and chose ‘Fifteen.’”
Dahyun Kim said, "I think I was a child when I was in elementary school. I think I matured in middle school and before I became an adult. I think I've passed puberty."
Meanwhile, Dahyun Kim's 2nd full-length album 'Fifteen' will be released through various music sites at 6 PM on this day.
