‘Bell & Nouveau’ signs partnership agreement with Moko Ent

Designers of 'Belle & Nouveau', a brand that is growing beyond Korea and becoming a global company, joined hands with Moko Ent.

Moco Entity, a global entertainment promotion, marketing and management company, recently announced that it will partner with designers from Belle & Nouveau. Regarding the reason why Moko Ent chose Belle & Nouveau as the second artist, he said, "I was greatly inspired by the two talented designers. I entrusted them with old bags, shoes, and clothes, including luxury goods, from 20 years ago, and they came back as works of art." “We will continue the upcycling business by bringing together the best experts and true spreaders of culture, promoting their spirit around the world, and creating new products of the most beloved items,” he said.

Belle & Nouveau, well-known as a local art object brand that has led K-POP in Korea, is home to countless idol stars and entertainers, including BoA, Girls' Generation, 2NE1, Infinite, SISTAR, Big Bang, Hyori Lee, and Blackpink. He shows off his top-level skills with costumes and props, and is currently actively working as a designer in charge of many idol stars and artists.

However, Belle & Nouveau, which felt a waste of pieces that were discarded after one use, thought that re-wearing clothes and accessories through upcycling was a way to save the earth. They agreed with Moko Ent and decided to collaborate. Upcycling is a concept that goes one step further from recycling, and refers to the process of adding design or adding new value to existing discarded products beyond simply recycling them. It is also called ‘new use’ because the product is given new life through a new design by adding new value to the original object.

Belle & Nouveau has been in the spotlight by presenting various upcycling designs that fully demonstrate creativity. As the first collaboration with Moko Ent, the group created a lot of buzz by presenting newly upcycled costumes of established singers at the Daegu and Hongdae performances of Cruffin, formed by Kim Tae-hyung and Ji Ha-yong.

Moko Ent said, "In the case of the entertainment industry, styling determines the artist's image, so many artists have a lot of concerns about costumes and accessories. Accordingly, we mutually agreed to apply new uses to the entertainment industry and 'create new products.'" “He held my hand and said, ‘Rather than buying, being stylish with what you have is a great step toward saving the earth.’” Moko Ent said, “In the future, we will pay more attention to upcycling and run a campaign together with the designers of Arttainer Bell & Nouveau.”
