NiziU, a girl group under JYP Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as JYP), showed off their trendy visuals in the second concept teaser for their first domestic single.
NiziU will release its first single album 'Press Play' and title song 'HEARTRIS' on October 30th and make its official debut in Korea. Accordingly, JYP first introduced the new album concept image on the 16th, and opened a second individual teaser on the official SNS channel at midnight on the 17th, further heating up the enthusiasm for the debut.
In the new image, the nine members - Mako, Rio, Maya, Riku, Ayaka, Mayuka, Rima, Miihi, and Nina - went beyond NiziU's unique plump and lovely charm to capture attention with a chic and arrogant twist. In particular, he showed off his photogenic side by wearing a unique school look styled in 9 colors, including a beret hat, ribbon tie, and vest. They expressed their individuality by leaning against a wall or posing like a model on the stairs, showing off their 'professional idol' appearance.
NiziU plans to take its first step into the domestic music industry with its first single album 'Press Play' and satisfy fans with high-quality music. The title song 'HEARTRIS' was written by JYP's representative producer Park Jin-young, completing fantastic synergy with NiziU. Jinyoung Park participated in the production of many songs, including 'Make you happy', which was NiziU's pre-debut digital album in Japan and was extremely popular, maximizing NiziU's bright and positive energy and charm. In addition, leading writers such as Stray Kids' producing team 3RACHA, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, JYP Publishing's star composers Shim Eun-ji and Versachoi, and the famous K-pop lyric writing team Danke, etc. The embroidered credits foreshadow the birth of a high-quality album.
After officially debuting in Japan with the single 'Step and a step' in December 2020, NiziU swept the top spots on major local charts such as Oricon and Billboard Japan through the diverse single 'Press Play'. Expectations are high that they will expand their activities in Korea and make a big success.
