'Could I Be Someone Else' Jang Seung-jo confessed his trauma.

In ENA Channel's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Can We Be Strangers', which aired on the 16th, the true reason for Goo Eun-beom's (Jang Seung-jo) divorce and painful family history were revealed.

The biggest reason for divorce was the fear of creating an 'unbreakable family'. As Ohara (played by Kang Sora) became more precious, the fear of losing her precious family grew. This was the same reason why Eun-beom did not want to have children.

The reason Eun-beom came to perceive his ‘precious family’ as something to fear was because of the pain of losing his younger brother. A mother left her child in her care to protect her family, and 11-year-old Gu Eun-beom found the responsibility burdensome. Just one day after taking care of his younger brother, while Eun-beom was away, his younger brother died in an accident, leaving his younger brother asleep. Eun-beom was also responsible for his younger brother's death. The mother's words, "It's because of you," thrown at the child, stuck like a dagger and instilled fear in creating another family for the rest of his life.

The economic violence that Eun-beom experienced during his school days also brought about regret. The financial violence of his mother, who cut off meal expenses for poor test scores and cut off transportation expenses to school for hanging out with friends he did not approve of, made it possible to understand why Eun-beom was tied to 'money' all this time. Eun-beom's childhood remained a trauma.

Kang Bichwi (played by Jo Eun-ji), who was skeptical about marriage and children, confirmed that she was pregnant and decided to marry Kwon Si-wook (played by Lee Jae-won), whom she had been conflicting with.

Kang Jichwi, who confirmed her pregnancy through a test, had a conversation with O Hara (played by Kang So-ra) about the Dink couple, who were filing for divorce after his wife terminated her pregnancy, while waiting for gynecological treatment. Jade seemed to agree with his wife's position, saying, "I honestly can't imagine having to exchange my career and desires for someone I don't yet love."

Si-wook, who found morning sickness medicine in Jade-chwi's office, asked J-chwi if she was pregnant with his child. As persistent questioning continued, Jade admitted that it was Siuk's child. Siuk said he would take responsibility and said let's get married, but Jichwi refused, asking how we could get married.

Meanwhile, Jade and Siuk continued to have differences of opinion. In the story of the Dink couple, unlike Jade, who sympathizes with the wife's position, Si-wook represents the husband's position, saying that it is problematic to have the child removed without consultation. Also, regarding the issue of owning a dog that he raised as his own child, Si-wook said, "Why can't I give a dog to the woman I love?" Jade also criticized those people, saying, ‘They are not just one dog, they are a family.’

Si-wook did not give up and prepared to propose. Jade, who received a romantic trunk proposal, shook her head with a troubled expression and responded by closing the lid of the ring case that Siwook had prepared.

Jade visited the obstetrics and gynecology clinic with the decision to give up the child, but had to return due to hospital circumstances. Si-wook, who did not know this, sent a letter to Jade's house expressing his respect for Jade along with various items, including seaweed soup. After reading the letter, Jichwi called Siuk and asked if he could quit his office job. However, when Si-wook said that it was his dream to be a good father and a good husband and that he would support her so that she could do whatever she wanted, Bi-chi decided to get married.
