Lim Young-woong, The Age of Heroes beat Marvel

It has become common for movies containing live concerts of singers to be shown in theaters. Lim Young-woong's live concert movie 'I'm Hero the Final' ranked first in advance reservation rates ahead of its release.

Live concert movies were released for groups including BTS, Twice, Monsta X, NCT, Astro, and Kim Ho-joong. The audience even waves the singers' light sticks, turning the theater into a concert hall. Now you can also see Lim Young-woong's concert live at the theater on March 1.

'I'm Hero the Final' is a film that contains the live performance of Lim Young-woong's national tour encore concert 'I'm Hero (IM HERO)' held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul last December.

In particular, the Gocheok Sky Dome concert scene was vividly captured on 3-sided ScreenX by mobilizing 14 cinematic cameras. On the day of release, CGVs across the country are expected to produce a unique scene where the theaters are filled with the sky blue waves symbolizing Lim Young-woong.

As of 5 PM on February 20th, the number of pre-order audiences for ‘I’m Hero the Final’ was 77,793. This attracts attention as it surpasses the Marvel movie 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania' and ranks first in overall reservation rate.

According to a CGV official, a light stick screening of ‘I’m Hero the Final’ will also be held. It is expected that the afterglow of the concert will continue through the theater's big screen. Lim Young-woong also said, “My heart is already full because I think I can once again see the shouts and images of Heroes’ Generation that I felt at the concert hall.”

There are 9 days left until the release of ‘I’m Hero the Final’. Expectations are high to see whether Lim Young-woong's power, which pushed Marvel out, will continue.
