Jeon So-ni gained Park Hyung-sik's trust

Jeon So-ni became Park Hyeong-sik's 'believer'.

The viewership rating for the 5th episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Youth's Tale', which aired on the 20th (based on paid platforms integrating cable, IPTV, and satellite/provided by Nielsen Korea), averaged 4.2% in the metropolitan area and peaked at 5.6%, recording the highest viewer rating in the metropolitan area, including cable and general programming channels. It ranked first in viewership ratings in its time slot.

On this day's broadcast, Min Jae-i (played by Jeon So-ni), who discovered the rules of the Do-seong serial murder case, succeeded in apprehending the criminal and proved her abilities, gaining the trust of Lee Hwan (played by Park Hyeong-sik).

Min Jae-yi, who had previously heard Lee Hwan's order to complete the rules for the serial murder case, visited Myeong-jin Kim (played by Tae-seon Lee) and Ga-ram Jang (played by Ye-jin Pyo), who were studying the corpses, to ask for their help. Lee Hwan, who was keeping a close eye on the capital serial murder case, also joined the ranks under the name of ‘Namsangol Park Seon-bi’. The four people obtained valuable clues to the motive for the crime from the victim's body. Those who achieved significant achievements clinked glasses with joy and made memories.

Lee Hwan and Min Jae-i, who were walking down the street at night side by side, completely intoxicated with the atmosphere, began playing hide-and-seek at night against the patrolling Sunra Army. Min Jae-yi, who was excited with the tension and excitement of going on a new adventure, smiled at Lee Hwan and said, “My heart is pounding so hard.” When Lee Hwan looks at Min Jae-yi's face, a mysterious tremble appears on his face, making the hearts of those watching also beat faster.

Lee Hwan found a little comfort from Min Jae-i, who understood his feelings of not being able to trust anyone due to the curse and tried to ease his burden. Min Jae-i also felt sorry for Lee Hwan, who felt guilty about the death of Kaesong Buyun's family and the messenger. The conversation between the two youths caught up in the same fate continued through the moonlight, which soon became an opportunity to understand each other's feelings a little better.

As Lee Hwan and Min Jae-i got closer, Han Seong-on (played by Yoon Jong-seok) became more disappointed in Lee Hwan. Lee Hwan was unable to open his heart to Han Seong-on due to the curse that said, 'Your friends will turn their backs on you and many people will die because of you.' To make matters worse, when Lee Hwan heard that Han Seong-on had lied to him about what happened to Mujang Kang, he coldly turned away from him, making us guess that the two friends were slowly growing apart.

Based on the clues, Min Jae-i inferred that the criminal was casting a spell by selecting the target of the crime based on birth, old age, illness, and death, and that the next target of the crime would be a newborn baby who had just come to life. As expected, Min Jae-yi, who went to the place where the pregnant woman was with Han Seong-on instead of the sleeping Lee Hwan, fought with the criminal targeting the newborn child and arrested him, but was attacked and collapsed, causing a shock.

Lee Hwan, who appeared at the scene soon after, was overcome with fear when he saw Min Jae-i lying in the yard. Lee Hwan, who was looking at Min Jae-i, who was trying to relieve his guilt even in pain, said, “I am a believer, so I am the only one who can touch this person’s body,” and walked away holding her directly, shaking off Han Seong-on’s hand. There is a sense of betrayal in the eyes of Han Seong-on, who lost Lee Hwan's trust, which he so desperately wanted to gain, to Min Jae-yi, making him curious about how the relationship between the three youths will change in the whirlpool of fate.

On the other hand, Min Jae-yi finds his trust by completing Lee Hwan's mission to 'solve a murder case in the city and prove your abilities.' It stimulated curiosity about how the trust that he finally gained after struggling for his life would have on Min Jae-yi clearing his name.
