Yoo Ah-in's side "Detection of a third drug ingredient? No information officially received."

While actor Yoo Ah-in was found to have a third drug substance following propofol and marijuana, his agency released an official statement.

On the 24th, Yoo Ah-in's agency, UAA, said, "We made several inquiries to the police about the content reported in the media, but until this morning, the only response we received was 'We cannot provide information.'"

He added, “Please understand that we cannot arbitrarily reveal our position based solely on media reports in a situation where we have not received any official information from the police.”

The agency said, "We have not received any information regarding the future investigation schedule, but we plan to faithfully undergo the investigation as soon as the schedule is set. We apologize once again for causing concern."

Earlier on this day, MBC's 'News Decks' reported that a hair test conducted by the National Institute of Forensic Science confirmed that a total of three types of drug substances were detected in Yoo Ah-in. According to MBC, it was confirmed that not only propofol, which was initially suspected, but also marijuana and other drugs were administered.

Yoo Ah-in has been booked by the police and is being investigated on charges of habitually taking the psychotropic drug propofol and inhaling marijuana. The police conducted a quick urine test on him upon his arrival at Incheon International Airport on the 5th, collected his hair, and requested analysis from the National Institute of Forensic Science.

Recently, the National Institute of Scientific Investigation confirmed that it had conveyed to the police the analysis results that three types of narcotic substances were detected in Yoo Ah-in's hair. Propofol, which was suspected of habitual use, was tested, as well as marijuana, which tested positive in urine, and another third drug.

The police, who also secured Yoo Ah-in's cell phone, plan to call him in as a suspect and interrogate him soon as soon as the digital analysis results are released.
