Group Blackpink and actor Jisoo became the first Asian to appear on the solo cover of Vogue France. This is the first feat since the magazine was founded 103 years ago.
Jisoo posted a pre-release version of the cover of the March issue of Vogue France on her social networking service (SNS) on the 23rd and 24th. Jisoo then said, “The most memorable moment.”
The official Instagram account, which boasts 600 million followers, congratulated her by saying, “Jisoo is the queen,” and the official Facebook account praised her, saying, “She is the reason she is Korea’s visual.” In addition, numerous influencers congratulated Jisoo for her appearance and for appearing on the cover of Vogue France.
In particular, Vogue France called Jisoo “not just a global pop star, but an icon of next-generation pop culture,” and commented, “She is bold, vibrant, and delicate, but by no means fragile.”
Meanwhile, Jisoo is accelerating her solo debut. Recently, he began filming a music video for a solo song with the largest production budget of all time.
