Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin disguised themselves as newlyweds to approach the 'illegal apartment subscription broker'.
In the 5th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Model Taxi 2', which aired on the 3rd, Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) and Ango Eun (played by Pyo Ye-jin) were depicted pretending to be newlyweds.
On this day's broadcast, Kim Do-gi, CEO Jang (played by Kim Eui-seong), Ango-eun, Director Choi (played by Jang Hyuk-jin), and Director Park (played by Bae Yu-ram) discovered the existence of a secret elevator leading to an underground hideout by the youngest driver, On Ha-jun (played by Shin Jae-ha). Fortunately, the elevator broke down and the exposure of the underground hideout was avoided. Accordingly, the Rainbow Five put an end to the incident by closing the entrance to the elevator in case of an emergency and deciding to use only the entrance that was not exposed to outsiders.
Meanwhile, On Ha-jun became Kim Do-gi's next-door cousin. He immediately went to live in the house where Ango-eun lived. Accordingly, Angoeun asked Onhajun to go see the house together. That's how Kim Do-gi, Ango-eun, and On Ha-jun went to see the house. Then, I ran into a girl. Suspicious of the child's behavior as if he had not been cared for by adults, the three people found the child who had run away in fear, and Do-gi brought the child, who did not want to go to Earth University, to Rainbow Unsu, a 'child safety guardian house'. The child, who was being carefully cared for by the Rainbow family, aroused curiosity with his unusual behavior.
The sight of the child staring blankly at the bread and milk, then suddenly eating it hungrily as if being chased by something, and the sight of him suddenly hiding under the table and shaking, suggested that the child had not grown up in a normal environment. Representative Jang received a call from Earth University saying, 'The child's name is Hwang Seo-yeon and the mother is waiting,' but Seo-yeon said, "We have to go to Somang. The mother doesn't know Somang. Please don't tell her uncle. We need to find Somang quickly." He repeated an unknown story. Representatives Do-gi and Jang, who could not hear this in vain, decided to visit Seo-yeon's parents in person before handing them over to Earth University.
Kim Do-gi, who visited the apartment where Seo-yeon's parents lived, learned that there mysterious men had urged them to report the child missing, and that Seo-yeon's parents did not even know the child's face. Accordingly, Kim Do-gi chased after the mysterious men and found out that they were consulting employees of a real estate consulting company. As more than one suspicious situation continued surrounding Seo-yeon, CEO Jang decided to continue protecting Seo-yeon from Rainbow Fortune instead of sending her back to her parents, who did not even know her child's face.
Seo-yeon, who slowly began to open her heart to the Rainbow family, handed Kim Do-gi all the coins she had carefully collected and asked him to “find Somang,” and the Rainbow Five cautiously accepted the request. Rainbow Team's first stop was a real estate consulting company. There, Kim Do-gi learned of the existence of Kang Pil-seung (played by Kim Do-yoon), a company representative and real estate instructor, and checked a photo of Kang Pil-seung and Seo-yeon together in a promotional brochure.
And Kim Do-gi, who received information that Seo-yeon had recently been adopted, guessed that there was some kind of relationship between the apartment subscription and adoption. Kim Do-gi wanted to meet Kang Pil-seung in person, but there were many mountains to overcome. In order to receive his consultation, it is impossible without a 'golden ticket', which is an admission ticket to the lecture hall. In response, Do-gi proposed to Ango-eun on the spot, saying, "Will you marry me?" and disguised himself as a 'newlywed couple'.
Kim Do-gi and Ango-eun, disguised as newlyweds, drew laughter with their 2% lack of chemistry as they were a hastily created couple. Kim Do-gi and Ahn Eun-eun, who visited the counseling booth and pretended to be innocent newlyweds, gave conflicting answers when asked how many years they had been married and when asked about their assets, making people laugh. However, Do-gi Kim and An-eun An, who fooled the counseling staff with their witty improvisation, succeeded in obtaining the golden ticket.
The two managed to meet Kang Pil-seung, but after checking the documents containing basic information, Kang Pil-seung cruelly eliminated them, saying, "You two will succeed in buying your own home even if I don't help you." The two had to turn back without getting any information. Accordingly, Kim Do-gi attempted to revive the loser. Kim Do-gi, who sneaked into Kang Pil-seung's office in the middle of the night and checked the model answers, found out that Kang Pil-seung had only selected newlyweds who did not have enough money or who did not meet the subscription conditions for consulting. Afterwards, Kim Do-gi set off the office sprinkler with the intention of making all the documents blank.
The couple, Kim Do-gi and Ango-eun, who met Kang Pil-seung again as planned, made an excuse that they had lost all their money in coins and made every effort to attract his attention by appealing to their desperation to buy a house of their own. However, Kang Pil-seung's test, which was highly questionable, continued. Suddenly, I received a call saying they would visit the newlyweds' home to verify it. Accordingly, Director Choi and Director Park hurriedly decorated CEO Jang's house as a honeymoon home. However, the unique interior of the newlywed home filled with Director Choi and Director Park's tastes stimulated Kang Pil-seung's suspicions. Kang Pil-seung scolded Kim Do-gi and Ango-eun, who desperately pretended to be newlyweds to appeal to Geum-seul, saying, "Aren't you a couple?" Kim Do-gi and Ango-eun were embarrassed by this.
Meanwhile, 'Model Taxi 2' continued its explosive rise, breaking its own highest viewer ratings every week, with a highest viewer rating of 19.7%, 16.3% in the metropolitan area, and 14.7% nationwide. In addition, the 2049 viewership rating, which is a key indicator of channel competitiveness and topicality, also exceeded 6.8% in the metropolitan area, and both the average viewership rating and the 2049 viewership rating ranked first among all programs broadcast on Friday.
