MBN's 'When the Rose Blooms' (hereinafter referred to as 'Jang Pil-moo') is a road reality show where 'Shin E-son' Son Tae-jin, Shin Seong-Enoch and their 'Burning Trotman' younger brothers visit viewers across the country to entertain and experience various experiences. In the 15th episode of 'Jang Pil-moo', which will be broadcast at 9:10 pm on the 3rd, Shin E-son, Min Soo-hyun, and Park Min-soo will be seen gathering at a traditional market in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, a city of gourmets, and having a mukbang of local food.
Son Tae-jin stood in front of the market, wearing a T-shirt with the words ‘Sonchelin Guide’ written in large letters on his chest and holding a flag, and shouted, “Welcome to the Sonchelin Tour!” The five members were surprised to receive the unprecedented mission of challenging a total of 35 people to eat regardless of the type of food. And Son Tae-jin said, “Gwangju is one of the areas I visited the most in Korea because my relatives live there,” and said, “I will recommend famous restaurants.”
When the ‘Jang Pil-moo’ members entered the market, citizens shouted, “He’s a real handsome man!” In addition, a scene from 'The Pied Piper' was shown, showing the members following and cheering them on, which brought laughter. Taejin Son headed to the 'Jeon' house where one of his favorite foods, meat pancake, was located. The members put on plastic gloves and began tasting freshly baked pancakes, from yukjeon to arongsaejeon and whole octopus pancake. The members were impressed, saying, “The pancake just disappears in your mouth” and “It’s so delicious.” Park Min-soo, who was excited, added fan service by singing 'Myeongja' live impromptu, making his shoulders shake.
After purchasing as many as 11 servings of pancakes, the members headed to the raw meat restaurant and began tasting it on the spot. The members dipped the raw meat in oil and put it in their mouths, exclaiming, “It’s so sticky.” Son Tae-jin passionately sang ‘A Very Good Person’ with his well-oiled vocal cords, earning rave reviews for “clearing his throat” and making everyone burst into laughter.
Afterwards, the five members entered the food dungeon with both hands full of hearty market food, and after looking at the food laid out on their haunches, they said, “I think we can continue our turn like this,” and started the mukbang in earnest. However, due to the unprecedented amount of food, Park Min-soo left the recording studio to go to the bathroom, saying, “I have reached my real limit.” Son Tae-jin made everyone burst out laughing with his eyes drooping from the intoxication of food. Expectations are high as to whether the members will be able to break the mukbang record of 31 servings recorded in the Ganghwa Island episode of 'Jang Pil-moo' and set a new record of 35 servings.
