Blackpink Jisoo unveils concept poster for first solo album [ME]

Blackpink Jisoo ignited enthusiasm for her solo debut by releasing a poster that gives an idea of the concept of her new album [ME].

YG Entertainment posted 'JISOO - CONCEPT POSTER #1' on its official blog on the 21st. Jisoo's visuals, colored like watercolors against a soft red background, are attractive as they are reminiscent of the title song 'FLOWER' of this album.

Jisoo matched her red-colored outfit with flower-shaped accessories, creating a captivating atmosphere with minimal yet sophisticated styling. Jisoo's dreamy eyes and soft charisma come together to create an unrivaled aura.

The sensuous visuals, as if watching a scene from a movie, further raised the expectations of global fans. Through teaser content released one after another, Jisoo's diverse charms are revealed one by one, increasing interest in the world of music that will be revealed through this album.

Jisoo will release her first solo album [ME] on March 31st at 1 PM. The title song is 'FLOWER', heralding Jisoo's new musical color that has never been seen before. Expectations are high as Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, who previously appeared as solo artists, have all set meaningful milestones in K-pop by breaking new records on various global charts.

The intense interest in the index has already been proven by objective figures. [ME] surpassed 950,000 pre-orders in just two weeks after pre-orders began, achieving the highest record for a single album by a K-pop female solo artist. As the music video was filmed in overseas locations with the largest production budget in Blackpink's history, it is also expected to break a new record on YouTube.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, to which Jisoo belongs, is currently carrying out the largest world tour by a K-pop girl group, ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’, mobilizing approximately 1.5 million people. After successfully completing 14 North American concerts in 7 cities and 10 European tours in 7 cities last year, the four members are heading to Asia to meet more fans. Additionally, they will perform as headliners at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in the US in April and the 'Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival' in the UK in July.
