Singers Kim Ho-jung and Ahn Seong-hoon predicted a golden meeting. They will perform at the 'Hwasun Dolmen Festival' held in April 2023 to welcome the spring.
As a result of Ten Asia's coverage on the 21st, the stage lineup for the 'Hwasun Dolmen Festival' was confirmed. Many Saesang Entertainment artists, known as ‘trot artists,’ will participate in the festival. Starting with Kim Ho-jung and Ahn Seong-hoon, Han Hye-jin, Jeong Da-kyung, Kang Ye-seul, Yeong-gi, and Geum Jan-di will take the stage.
Ahn Seong-hoon is a singer whose popularity is rapidly rising after he recently appeared in 'Mr. Trot 2'. The performance of Kim Ho-jung, the protagonist who caused the ‘trot syndrome’, also guarantees the success of the festival.
In addition, the stages of Han Hye-jin, Geum Jan-di, and Yeong-gi, who have a long history in the trot genre, and Kang Ye-seul and Jeong Da-kyung, who have emerged as new trot stars, are expected to provide something to see.
Through this festival stage, Kim Ho-jung and Ahn Seong-hoon worked together for the first time. These are the leading figures in the Trot genre. As Kim Ho-jung and Ahn Seong-hoon are both artists belonging to Saeng Saeng Entertainment, attention is being paid to whether a ‘Saeng Saeng Universe’ will be born.
The '2023 Hwasun Dolmen Festival' will be held across dolmen historical sites, including Hyosan-ri, Dogok-myeon and Daesin-ri, Chunyang-myeon, from April 21st to 30th.
The dolmen is a World Cultural Heritage registered by UNESCO in December 2000. This festival was designed to shed new light on the historical value of dolmens and further become a nationwide festival. The venue was also changed from Namsan Park in Hwasun to the dolmen historic site.
Around the festival site, rape flowers, which are synonymous with spring flowers, as well as chrysanthemums, daffodils, tulips, and wild flowers, etc. will be planted, and 113 sculptures of 24 types will be decorated in three themes, including the Unique Garden Zone, Hwasun Luxury Zone, and Bronze Painting Martyrs' Preservation. During the festival, about 40 programs, including performances, exhibitions, experiences, and sales, will be held.
It is different from other festivals that only provide simple entertainment. At the 'Hwasun Dolmen Festival', a total of 12 experts, including 3 overseas academic speakers from the UK, India, and the Philippines, plan to hold an international academic conference to revitalize tourism at dolmen historic sites.
Trot leaders gathered together in an academically meaningful event. As this is a festival aimed at revitalizing local commerce and promoting dolmens, their performance is expected to be of great help.
