Le Seraphim's 'FEARLESS' surpasses 100 million cumulative views on Billboard Japan

LE SSERAFIM has added the record of '100 million streams' for a single song.

According to the 'Streaming Song' chart published by Billboard Japan on the 22nd, the debut song 'FEARLESS' released in Korea by Le Seraphim (Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Heo Yun-jin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae) has exceeded 100 million cumulative plays. This is the sum of the number of plays on major Japanese music sites such as Apple Music, Line Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music.

'FEARLESS', released in May last year, entered Billboard Japan's 'Streaming Song' chart for 19 consecutive weeks. Billboard Japan highlighted Le Seraphim's first achievement of reaching 100 million streams on its official website, and paid attention to the power of their music that re-entered the 'Top 100' even after ending their consecutive chart records.

'FEARLESS' reappeared on the 'Streaming Song' chart at the end of last year, and settled in the rankings for two consecutive weeks (as of December 28, 2022, January 4, 23). Billboard Japan analyzed that Le Seraphim was able to re-enter the charts due to the attention of local music fans focused on the stage performed at NHK's '73rd Red and White Song Battle', a representative year-end program in Japan.

This song reappeared on the 'Streaming Song' chart (as of February 1) after Le Seraphim's Japanese debut single was released in January this year, and was listed in the 'Top 100' for 6 consecutive weeks.

In addition, the title song 'ANTIFRAGILE' of the 2nd mini album released in Korea in October last year surpassed 90 million cumulative plays based on the latest Billboard Japan chart (as of March 22), becoming a new 'hundred-million streaming'. A record is just around the corner. Le Seraphim set a new record for the first album (album sales in one week based on the release date) of a debut album released in Japan by a K-pop girl group, and also stood out in the music charts, proving their popularity as the 'top' 4th generation girl group.

Meanwhile, Le Seraphim achieved 'double platinum' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan by shipping more than 500,000 copies in February of this year with their Japanese debut single 'FEARLESS'. Based on the Japanese Record Association certification, Le Seraphim is the first K-pop group to exceed 500,000 copies shipped with a local debut single, both male and female.
