Lee Sang-i said through her agency, "It was the first work I gave my greetings to in the winter, but I ended up saying my last greetings in the warm spring. I felt once again that I really love this work so much that I couldn't be so sad and sad about the performance ending." He said.
He continued, "I would like to thank everyone who participated in the journey of 'Shakespeare in Love' with one heart and one mind, not only the actors, but also the staff and officials. I was able to feel how precious the moments of Will Shakespeare's pursuit of dreams and love were in the work. “Personally, it was a time when I resolved to become a more hard-working person in the future,” he added.
Lee Sang-i said, "First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the audience who supported and sympathized with me during this mysterious time. Please show a lot of interest and anticipation for my other works to be released this year, and like the warm spring weather, my heart will always be warm. “I hope we can be together. Thank you.”
Lee Sang-i plays the role of Will Shakespeare, a promising playwright and poet. As it has been a long time since he met the audience through a theater production, he called himself 'Passion Will' in order to exist solely as Will Shakespeare from the rehearsal process to every moment on stage. Not only did he show off his delicate acting skills in each performance, but he continued to show interest in the work until the end. It is said that a lot of thought and effort was put into it.
Ahead of the release of the Netflix series 'Hounds of Dogs' and the Disney Plus original series 'Han River' this year, Lee Sang-i begins his first step in 2023 with a passionate stage performance through 'Shakespeare in Love', raising expectations for the various steps he will make in the future.
