Actors Sol Kyeong-gu and Kim Hee-ae are collaborating in the Netflix series 'Blast'.
On the 28th, Netflix confirmed the production and casting of ‘Storm’. 'Storm' is a story about the conflict between the Prime Minister, who wants to uproot the corrupt power, and the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, who opposes him.
Sol Kyung-gu plays the role of Prime Minister Park Dong-ho, who wants to judge the president who colluded with conglomerates and change the political landscape. Sol Kyung-gu has dominated the film industry with his strong charisma and deep acting skills. Ahead of the release of the Netflix movie 'Gil Bok-soon', he will attempt his first lead role in a series with 'Storm'.
The role of Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Finance Jeong Soo-jin will be played by Kim Hee-ae, who is about to release the Netflix series 'Queen Maker'. Kim Hee-ae takes on the role of Su-jin Jeong, who enters a fierce political battle to stand against Park Dong-ho at the pinnacle of politics thanks to her brilliant intelligence and strong convictions.
'Storm' is written by writer Park Kyung-soo, who is considered a master of the political genre after presenting the 'Power Trilogy' with 'THE CHASER', 'Golden Empire', and 'Punch', and is a Korean writer in 2015 with the web drama 'Love Cells'. Director Kim Yong-wan, who won the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Award for Content and has presented various popular works across genres such as 'Champion', 'Method', and 'Method: Jaedeo', took charge of directing. Production is handled by Studio Dragon and Pan Entertainment.
