Kim Wooseok held a showcase commemorating the release of his fourth mini album 'Blank Page' at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 3pm on the 3rd.
The album includes the title song 'Dawn', 'Intro: Blank Page', 'Love and Hate', and 'Heaven, Are you there'. , ‘Slip’, and ‘If You Miss Me’, a total of 6 songs are included. Following '3RD DESIRE [Reve]' released last year, 'Black Page' also participated in writing lyrics and composing all songs.
On this day, Kim Wooseok explained, "There is a nickname called 'romantic fantasy visual'. I put that concept into this album. I think the company is pushing it more than I thought."
He then shyly said, "I appreciate that kind of modifier, but it's also true that it's embarrassing. It's not a concept that reflects my opinion much."
Some members of Up10tion, of which Kim Wooseok was a member, left the company without renewing their contracts. As a result, questions related to contract renewal naturally arose. Kim Wooseok emphasized, "There was a time when we stopped activities. There is still a period left on the contract. There has been no major talk about the contract. The priority is to focus on this activity."
Kim Wooseok briefly worked as a member of X1, which was created through Mnet's 'Produce X 101' in 2019. He still maintains a close relationship with members of UP10TION and X1. Kim Wooseok said, "After seeing the teaser for this comeback, we had a small talk, saying, 'You look good on each other, I hope it goes well, let's eat next time.' We are really close friends. We sometimes see each other and have a drink, and we all get along well."
In addition, in relation to the new album's concept of 'time travel', he revealed a moment he would like to return to. Kim Wooseok said, "I have some regrets, but I have no regrets. However, I don't think I had fun during my school days. Now I know how to have fun. Back then, I was an introverted boy. I want to spend quality time with my friends."
Kim Wooseok is also acting. He expressed his motivation, saying, "Acting is really fun. If I get a chance, I won't turn it down. I've always played good roles. I also want to play a character that expresses my emotions."
Kim Wooseok also expressed his regret for the delay in his comeback. I felt sorry and grateful to the fans who had waited a long time for the new song. He said, "Actually, it took a year for the album to come out. I think I worked on it a little hastily. I feel sorry to the fans. It would have been better if it had come out sooner."
