Kang Min-kyung gives '700,000 won headset' as a gift to all employees

Davichi Kang Min-kyung gifted headsets worth 700,000 won to the employees of 'Abiemua', which she runs.

On the 9th, Kang Min-kyung posted a video titled ‘Work, eat, drink, and crack a gold button’ on her YouTube channel ‘Gam Ming-kyung’.

In the released video, Kang Min-kyung gave headsets to all employees in commemoration of the new headquarters move. The headset gifted was reportedly worth 700,000 won.

Kang Min-kyung recently announced that she would purchase a building worth 6.5 billion won and use it as the Abiemua headquarters.

Kang Min-kyung caused controversy with ‘Passion Pay’ last January. He posted an advertisement for CS staff at the fashion brand shopping mall he runs. It was known that the annual salary of the hired employee at the time was around 25 million won.

Afterwards, Kang Min-kyung said, "I posted a job posting for a person with CS experience that incorrectly stated the salary of a new employee. This notice was corrected as soon as I confirmed the mistake in the description. I apologize for my failure to review the content again."

Despite his stance on the controversy, the controversy did not calm down. Kang Min-kyung said, "I heard criticism and advice from many people. One of them was, 'Isn't the amount of 25 million won too small even for a new employee with no experience?'" and "This incident served as an opportunity for not only new team members but also the company." “We will adjust the starting salary of all new employees, regardless of academic background/experience, to 30 million won,” he said.
