MCs Han Ga-in and Lee Chang-yong of MBN's 'The Private Lives of the Gods - Greek and Roman Mythology 2' (hereinafter referred to as 'The Private Lives of the Gods 2') vividly testify to the reality version of the so-called 'Hephaestus Complex', arousing strong sympathy.

In the second episode of 'The Private Lives of the Gods 2', which airs at 10:20 pm on the 13th, 'storyteller' Seol Min-seok tells a more poignant story than '30,000 Leagues in Search of Mother' on the theme of Hephaestus, making everyone's eyes moist.

Professor Kim Heon, who was listening to the tragedy of Hephaestus, who was abandoned by his parents, said, “When children are treated poorly or hurt by their parents when they are young, they remember more what their parents did poorly than what they did well. “This is commonly referred to as the ‘Hephaestus complex,’” he explains. Afterwards, the studio cast members, including Han Ga-in, Seol Min-seok, Lee Chang-yong, and Kim So-hyun, were asked, “Do you have any similar experiences?”

Lee Chang-yong said, “I was supposed to play with my child all day long and put him to sleep, but he wouldn’t sleep and was stubborn, so I scolded him just once right before he went to bed. Then the child started screaming while having a nightmare. “I don’t know why they’re doing that,” he said, representing the feelings of unfair parents. Han Ga-in also said, “My mother and father never fight in front of the children, but they said they only fought once. Nevertheless, the husband (Yeon Jeong-hoon) said, ‘I was very shocked because my mom and dad had a big fight.’ Even if it's only once, it seems like it can be greatly remembered from a child's perspective. “As someone raising a child, I think I need to be careful,” he confessed, making everyone nod their heads.

In the midst of a flurry of real-life episodes, Professor Kim Heon explained the meaning of mythology by saying, “Greek and Roman myths tell dramatic and extreme stories, but they are only the peak of small experiences in everyday life. If you boil them down, they contain every single aspect of us.” Point it out.

The turbulent story of Hephaestus, who was abandoned by his parents but overcame this and became one of the respected 12 gods of Olympus, can be seen in episode 2 of 'The Private Lives of the Gods 2', which airs at 10:20 pm on the 13th.
