‘Hospital Playlist’ spin-off drama is coming.
According to tvN on the 20th, director Shin Won-ho and writer Lee Woo-jung, who created the 'Reply' series and the 'Wise' series, will participate as creators in the new drama 'Someday, the Life of a Wise Major'. ‘Someday, the Wise Life of a Resident’ depicts the realistic hospital life and friendship stories of professors and residents at a university hospital. This is a spin-off work of ‘Wise Doctor Life’.
Director Shin Won-ho and writer Lee Woo-jung, who participate as creators in this work, presented viewers with the work of a lifetime with small but resonant stories in each work, wit and sense placed at the right place, and unique, relatable materials. Those who have expanded their scope of participation as creators are looking forward to the fresh fun and unique emotions that will be shown through ‘Someday, the Wise Major Life’. Here, director Lee Min-soo, who directed 'Stain' and 'Meeting in an Unfamiliar Season', and writer Kim Song-hee, who participated as an assistant writer on 'Reply 1988' and 'Hospital Playlist', team up.
In particular, Go Yoon-jung has confirmed her appearance, attracting attention. In the play, Go Yoon-jeong transforms into a first-year resident at Jongro Yulje Obstetrics and Gynecology and takes on the role of her first doctor.
In ‘Someday, the Life of a Wise Resident’, the stage moves from Yulje Main Hospital to Yulje Hospital in Jongno, depicting the realistic hospital life of obstetrics and gynecology residents. It is expected that many viewers will sympathize with the hospital life of novice doctors, which resembles everyone's first social life. Through the turbulent friendship between young people that blooms even during the harsh training process, and the gradual growth of residents, it tells a story that will have everyone cheering for their wiser future.
‘Someday, the Wise Life of a Major’ will be broadcast in the first half of 2024.
