In the 13th episode of KBS 2TV's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Oasis', which aired on the 17th, the truth surrounding Choi Cheol-woong (Chu Young-woo) slowly surfaced.
Even though Jin Yi-han was demoted to a local area, he continued to accept bribes and a complaint was filed. Choi Cheol-woong, who found out about this, told him to resign, saying, “I’ll give you 3 days,” but Jin Yi-han actually showed his discomfort and threatened Choi Cheol-woong.
“Your fate cannot be escaped from the moment you were first caught in my grasp until the day you die. “I can’t win,” he said eerily, mentioning the secret of his past imprisonment and even the death of Lee Jung-ho (Kim Myung-soo).
Kang Yeo-jin (Kang Kyung-heon) also drove Jin Yi-han into a corner. He mentioned the friction with Choi Cheol-woong and pointed out that Jin Yi-han was at fault.
But this time, Jin Yi-han turned the situation around by handing over a copy of the letter that Lee Jung-ho had when he got into a car accident. The letter contained the truth about Choi Cheol-woong's birth. In addition, he put pressure on Kang Yeo-jin by presenting documents showing a genetic test with Hwang Chung-seong (Jeon No-min) as evidence.
Jin Yi-han decides to cover up the whole truth in exchange for his position being moved back to Namsan and receiving 30% of the profits from the business with Chairman Geum Man-cheol in which Kang Yeo-jin participated.
Meanwhile, Jin Yi-han faces the crossroads of life and death when he encounters Lee Du-hak (Jang Dong-yoon), whom he thought was dead. Jang Dong-yoon decorated the ending by pointing a gun at Jin Yi-han's head.
