Season 3 of ‘Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim’ comes to TV theaters with colorful changes at Doldam Hospital.

SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3', which returns after three years, will premiere on the 28th. 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim' is a drama depicting the story of a 'real doctor' that takes place in a shabby local Doldam Hospital, and is a hit series on SBS that recorded the highest viewership rating of 27% in both Season 1 in 2016 and Season 2 in 2020.

In this Season 3, with Han Seok-gyu as Master Kim at the center, successful protagonists such as Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Seong-kyung, Kim Min-jae, Jin-kyung, Lim Won-hee, Byeon Woo-min, Kim Joo-heon, Yoon Na-mu, Shin Dong-wook, and So Joo-yeon join together from Season 2 to continue the worldview of Doldam Hospital. The warm core message that drove the romantic craze of 'What do people live by, why do I live like this?' will continue, but the drama's emotion and resonance will be conveyed more deeply through the various changes that occurred at Doldam Hospital. Accordingly, we looked at season 3 viewing keywords.

◆ Master Kim’s long-time dream, ‘Doldam Hospital Regional Trauma Center’ is completed.

The 'Doldam Hospital Regional Trauma Center', which has been Kim Sabu's long-awaited dream since Season 1, is built. In the meantime, Master Kim has been drawing up the big picture of a regional trauma center and fighting against those who oppose it. At the end of Season 2, Doldam Hospital became independent from the large foundation and became the 'Medical Corporation Doldam Foundation', showing its strides toward becoming a regional trauma center. In the season 3 teaser video released prior to the first broadcast, the regional trauma center was finally revealed, raising expectations. At the same time, the image of a regional trauma center facing a precarious fate was also included, and the conflict surrounding it was predicted. Attention is focused on whether Sabu Kim's dream of saving more people will come true and on the story of the regional trauma center that will bring about a tectonic shift at Doldam Hospital.

◆ Doldamz’s growth, Seo Woo-jin and Cha Eun-jae become seniors and new faces appear

The story of Doldam Hospital unfolds three years later, and the growth of Doldams, who have leveled up since Season 2, is depicted. Seo Woo-jin (Ahn Hyo-seop), who has been reborn as a doctor who truly knows how to care for patients, Cha Eun-jae (Lee Sung-kyung), who no longer runs out of the operating room due to depression, and Doldams, who have improved their skills over the past three years, reliably protect Doldam Hospital. The stronger chemistry between Master Kim and Doldams and the romance between Seo Woo-jin and Cha Eun-jae and Park Eun-tak (played by Kim Min-jae) and Yoon Ah-reum (played by So Joo-yeon), who have been a couple for three years, show a deepened relationship. With the appearance of Cha Jin-man (Lee Gyeong-young), who was previously called Master Kim's rival, a new tension is formed. In addition, Jang Dong-hwa (played by Lee Shin-young) and Lee Seon-woong (played by Lee Hong-nae) join Doldam Hospital as the youngest doctors, and the changes of Seo Woo-jin and Cha Eun-jae, who become senior doctors, are expected to create a story full of ups and downs.

◆ Bigger scale, more intense and desperate medical field

As Master Kim said in the third teaser video, “Now we have become a world where no matter what happens, it is not unrealistic,” fills Season 3 with episodes that show the eventful aspects of our society. The season 3 teaser video attracted attention by depicting the fierce and earnest appearance of Doldamz, who are urgently dispatched to shooting scenes and disaster sites. In previous seasons, episodes showing modern society resonated with many viewers and provided immersion. In Season 3, attention is being paid to which episodes containing the stories of patients will bring comfort and resonance.

‘Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3’ will premiere on the 28th at 10 PM.
