Singer Byun Jin-seop participates in a national campaign for proper consumption culture

‘Legendary Ballad Prince’ singer Byun Jin-seop has set out to save the earth. Byun Jin-seop joined as an ambassador for Code Green Hub (HUB) platform store MO, which is scheduled to open on May 13th.

Store MO is a code green hub that practices ESG (environmental, social, and governance) values that save the earth. 'Code Green' is a word meaning the lowest level among the five levels of alert in the United States, which is issued when there is a high-level threat such as terrorism. It is also an emergency code used in hospitals when emergency matters or announcements occur, such as 'disaster relief, emergency evacuation'. It is a code that means ‘command’. It also has the meaning of 'green', which means nature and green, and contains the meaning of saving the earth from a crisis by leading a proper consumption life. To consumers, Store MO is also demonstrating its will to become a companion for an eco-friendly lifestyle as a code green hub.

Currently, the problem of global environmental destruction due to overproduction has already reached a critical level. Global environmental reports warn that in almost all scenarios, the global temperature rise will reach 1.5 degrees in the near future (2021-2040). As global warming intensifies, loss and damage ultimately fall on humans. Store MO was designed to lead daily practices to save the earth by reducing resource waste.

Accordingly, Byun Jin-seop is an ambassador for brand MO and joins in leading the right consumption culture. Byun Jin-seop, who has been loved for a long time as our eternal ‘Dooly Oppa’ and has been working steadily, plans to show his ‘good influence’ as a singer who has a friendly image and has produced numerous hit songs. He, who has been loved across generations, will take this opportunity to share his thoughts on environmentally friendly consumption with the public.

Meanwhile, star ambassadors such as Park Soo-hong, Eugene and Ki Tae-young, Kim Wan-sun, Baek Seong-hyeon, Lee Yun-ji, Kim Yeon-ja, and Byun Jin-seop will lead the way and directly participate during the event for consumers, companies, and the earth. From May 13th to 16th, the '4-day Store MO Code Green (ESG) Grand Festival with Prices Like Lies' will be held on the Pi Ground stage in Neungdong Pi Factory, Bonda Vinci Museum, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. This event promotes rational consumption and carbon emissions reduction by selling products nearing their expiration date or expiration date at a discounted price (70-80%) compared to the regular sale price. In addition, we are carrying out activities to strengthen public relations following the full implementation of the expiration date labeling system (January 2023).

In the future, Store MO is expected to become a useful platform for both companies and consumers under the goal of 'Saving the Earth' in line with the government's ESG policy.
