Lee Gyeong-gyu and Noh Sa-yeon are surprised by tears

Broadcaster Lee Gyeong-gyu brought tears to the eyes of Female Friends members Noh Sa-yeon, Park Mi-sun, Jo Hye-ryun, and Shin Bong-seon.

In the 8th episode of JTBC's 'Unpacked Returns' special backpacking trip 'Kyung-gyu over Flowers', which aired on the 2nd, the final journey of the Vietnam backpacking trip of guide Lee Kyung-gyu and his female friends Noh Sa-yeon, Park Mi-sun, Jo Hye-ryun, and Shin Bong-seon was depicted.

In order to win the hearts of his female friends, Lee Kyung-gyu ambitiously prepared a Halong Bay cruise tour as the last itinerary of his backpacking trip to Vietnam. The cruise's luxurious accommodations and beautiful ocean views drew admiration from female friends, and Lee Gyeong-gyu shrugged his shoulders with pride.

The two-day, one-night Halong Bay cruise tour schedule was full of various activities that would satisfy the members' five senses. The members were the first to arrive at Seung Sot Cave. Sung Sot Cave is a representative attraction in Ha Long Bay, registered as a World Cultural Heritage in 1994, and is a place where you can feel the beauty of nature created over a long period of time. The female friends were amazed by the amazing sight of this place, saying, “It feels like we are in space.” Lee Kyung-gyu pretended not to be interested, but left a lot of selfies with cute poses, making people smile.

Then we headed to Titop Island. The members spent their time divided into the swimming team and hiking team at this paradise, the only beach in Halong Bay. In the swimming team, Gyeong-gyu Lee was the first to jump into the cold sea without any hesitation and attracted attention, followed by Bong-seon Shin. After spending a satisfying time at Sung Sot Cave and Ti Top Island, the members returned to their accommodation and gathered together.

Here too, Noh Sa-yeon continued to boast about her physical strength. A 60th birthday arm wrestling match was held between Noh Sa-yeon, who said, “I am a born warrior,” and Lee Gyeong-gyu, who was the best in the blue. As a result, Lee Gyeong-gyu suffered the humiliation of losing by KO in 2 seconds. Jo Hye-ryun asked, “Did you beat Lee Moo-song?” Noh Sa-yeon confessed her desire to remain as a deer to her husband Lee Moo-song, saying, "The only person who has not tried (arm wrestling) is Lee Moo-song. Because I want to have a fantasy," and made everyone laugh.

On the last night of their dream-like backpacking trip, the members had time to open up and reveal their true feelings. Park Mi-sun was the first to express her regret, saying, “I fell in love with it, but I’m sad because I thought I was leaving tomorrow.” Jo Hye-ryun expressed her happiness at getting to know new sides of the members, saying, “It’s good to get to know each other.” Shin Bong-seon then carefully brought up the difficulties of the youngest child, who was secretly suffering, saying, "I keep running errands."

Above all, the sincerity expressed by the eldest sister Noh Sa-yeon attracted everyone's attention. Noh Sa-yeon began by saying, “I gave up everything on this trip.” He then shed tears, revealing how he tried hard not to be a burden to his younger siblings, saying, "I thought I shouldn't be a nuisance because I'm the oldest. I came here with that thought in mind, and I got through the day well." In response to Cho Hye-ryun's question about whether it was difficult, Noh Sa-yeon honestly expressed her feelings toward Lee Kyung-gyu, saying, "It was very difficult. I know that Kyung-gyu was not just angry and had a deep meaning."

Lee Gyeong-gyu smiled sheepishly, saying, “I cried a lot when I got scolded, but this is the first time I’ve seen a woman cry because she was moved.” He then reverently shouted, "I consider you all family. We are family. Family gives me the most tears, family gives me the most pain, and it is through family that I get the most joy." Jo Hye-ryun sneezed at Lee Gyeong-gyu's unfamiliar comment, cutting him off, and the scene that was full of tears and emotion turned into a sea of laughter.
