Group ONEUS (Seoho, Leedo, Geonhee, Hwanwoong, Zion) expressed confidence in their new album.
Oneus held a showcase commemorating the release of their 9th mini album 'PYGMALION' at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul at 4:30 pm on the 8th.
On this day, Oneus said, "There were about three candidates for the title song. Not only the members but also the company had a lot of concerns. 'Erase Me' is a song that will reveal Oneus' color."
Lee Do mentioned, "In the music video, I entered the coffin for the first time. It was very stuffy and felt strange. Luckily, the door wasn't closed so I was able to film it well."
The new album 'Pygmalion' refers to the 'Pygmalion effect', where expectations or wishes actually bring good results. This is an album filled with Oneus' bold ambition to break away from the past and be reborn.
The title song 'ERASE ME' is an emo pop genre that mixes orchestra and EDM. The emotional line that begins quietly, as if representing a past full of emptiness, but explodes in a swirling manner as if everything will be burned down toward the end, is impressive. The members' deeper vocals are added to the powerful beat, which is reminiscent of Oneus' early songs, making it highly addictive.
In addition to the title song, 'Pygmalion' includes 'Intro: LETHE', in which cello and violin melodies express the danger in pain, and 'Unforgettable', with a rhythmic sound that reminds us of the brilliant times we were in the movie, and a member who seems to be whispering love. A total of 5 songs are included, including 'ECHO', which has attractive vocals, and 'Halley's Comet', which vaguely expresses the fleeting moment of falling in love. Member Lee Do was named in the credits for the song 'ECHO'.
Oneus' 9th mini album 'Pygmalion' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on this day.
