Brand New Music is launching the vinyl project 'V12YL by BRANDNEW' and releasing Verbal Jint's 'You Look Good 2023 (Feat. Black Skirt)' as its first single today (11th).
'V12YL by BRANDNEW' commemorates Brand New Music's 12th anniversary by releasing the label's classic albums, which were greatly loved by listeners, on vinyl.
As a project to commemorate that history, a variety of classic albums from the ‘record label’ Brand New Music will be released on vinyl.
The first work of the project is Verbal Jint's 4th studio album 'Go Easy', released in 2011.
Prior to today's vinyl release, the remix single 'Looks Good 2023 (Feat. Black Skirt)', which will be included as a special track on vinyl, is being released.
'Looks Good' is a song that received a lot of love at the time of its release, sweeping various music charts and suggesting a new direction for Korean hip-hop.
In this 2023 version of the remix, it has been reinterpreted as a modern R&B genre, and Verbal Jint's newly re-recorded rapping is added to give it a different charm from the original song.
In addition, Brand New Music has attracted attention by releasing teaser images and teaser videos of 'Look Good 2023' through official SNS channels since the 8th.
In the released teaser video, part of the new song was revealed, raising the expectations of many music fans.
Meanwhile, Verbal Jint's 'Look Good 2023', reborn in a new atmosphere, will be released through various online music sites at 6 pm today (11th).
‘Go Easy’ vinyl begins pre-order at 12 PM today.
