'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3' Ahn Hyo-seop and Kim Min-jae were buried in a secondary building collapse accident and were in a desperate crisis.
In the 9th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim 3', which aired on the 26th, the appearance of Doldamjus, who was dispatched as a Disaster Medical Support Team (DMAT), was drawn. The collapse of the building, which was not prepared in advance, caused regret, and the urgent situation at the disaster site increased tension.
The 9th episode of 'Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim 3' (Nielsen Korea) was rated at 13.5% for households in the metropolitan area, 13.4% for households nationwide, and 14.9% for the highest rating at the moment. The 2049 audience rating, a key indicator of channel competitiveness and topicality, reached 5.4%, breaking its own record and ranking first among all programs on Friday.
On this day, the broadcast created tension due to an accident in which an old building in a redevelopment area collapsed. In the building, there was an academy, a snack bar, a laundry, and a dance practice room for students in the basement. Sabu Kim (played by Han Seok-gyu) formed a Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) with Doldam Hospital as the base hospital, and declared Code Orange (activated in case of a disaster or mass casualties). Seo Woo-jin (Ahn Hyo-seop), Cha Eun-jae (Lee Seong-kyung), Park Eun-tak (Kim Min-jae), Jang Dong-hwa (Lee Shin-young), and Jang Ki-tae (Im Won-hee) were dispatched to the scene.
The site of the collapse accident was truly a disaster. Sabu Kim told Seo Woo-jin, who was distraught, that it was important to calmly judge the situation and said, "Let's do our best to save even one more person." DMAT Doldamjus moved according to the principles of the disaster scene. Cha Eun-jae was heartbroken at the student's request to save his friend, but as a medical staff, he calmly judged. This is because in a disaster situation, the principle is to first treat a patient who needs to be saved, rather than resuscitate a patient who has already died. Seo Woo-jin also asked to distinguish between red (emergency), yellow (emergency), green (non-emergency), and black (dead) depending on the patient's condition.
The trauma center at Doldam Hospital was also hectic with accident patients. Sabu Kim contacted Cha Jin-man (Lee Kyung-yeong), who went to trial for the lawsuit, but Cha Jin-man did not answer. Park Min-guk (played by Kim Joo-heon) covered the vacancy of the center director, and Cha Eun-jae also returned to the hospital with an emergency student patient.
At this time, news of survivors in the basement of the building came. Among them, there was a teacher who risked his life to go underground to evacuate the students. The teacher's legs were crushed by the collapsed structure, and he was in a state of severe abdominal bleeding. There was also an unconscious male student. Seo Woo-jin decided that his life was in danger if he waited until he was rescued, and said that he would buy time for rescue work after first aid. Park Eun-tak said that the safety of the medical staff came first, but Seo Woo-jin persuaded him by saying, “People die the moment we give up.” Eventually, the two entered the collapsed building to save the patients.
Hearing this news, Sabu Kim was worried about the safety of his disciples and shouted, "Why are you going in there!" And I remembered Seo Woo-jin's words, "Master would have done the same as me." Sabu Kim had no choice but to understand Seo Woo-jin's desire to save the patient. Cha Eun-jae was also worried about Seo Woo-jin, but went into the operating room for a patient who needed help. 'Suddenly, we are standing at the end of someone's life like this again. Cha Eun-jae's narration, "I hope our efforts will not be in vain," added a deep resonance.
Seo Woo-jin and Park Eun-tak, who finished first aid, sent the crying student out of the building first, worrying about the teacher. Then, the second collapse caused the ceiling to collapse. After shock and fear swept the scene, Park Eun-tak, who woke up, found Seo Woo-jin. Even while the ceiling was collapsing, Seo Woo-jin, who wrapped and protected the teacher, had a steel bar penetrated. The devastated expression of Kim Sabu who heard the news of the collapse and the 'crisis crisis' ending, where the lost Seo Woo-jin crossed, heightened tension.
