In the 11th episode of JTBC's Wednesday & Thursday drama, 'Bad Mother', which aired on the 31st, Youngsoon (Ra Miran) suddenly collapsed, and Kang Ho (Lee Dohyeon) took over as his guardian. Accepting the fact that there are not many days left to be together in the future, the sad but calm appearance of the hat preparing for the end again pressed the tears button of viewers. Another unfortunate accident struck the two people who were not enough to be happy. A fire hit the pig farm. Kang-ho, who saved Yeong-soon from the rising flames and escaped after him, fell down with the second explosion. The ending of Kang-ho, who opened his eyes as if he had woken up from a long sleep, aroused curiosity.
In front of Youngsoon and Kangho's mother and son's house, customers have been lining up since morning. Mi-joo (played by Eun-jin Ahn), who decided to confess everything, and Huang (played by A-jin Lee), who met through the introduction of Andrea (played by Josh Newton), a twin brother and sister, came to visit. However, when Youngsoon suddenly collapsed from shock, the three of Kang-ho, Mi-joo and Huang went to the hospital together. Hearing that Youngsoon was in critical condition, Kangho held her hand and shed tears, begging that he would not be tested again and that he would not like Mijoo. It was the only thing Kang-ho, a seven-year-old child, could do. Mi-joo comforted Kang-ho and gave her warm comfort, saying, “Just like how a woman stayed by your side when you were sick, now you should be by her side and support her.”
Fortunately, Youngsoon, who regained consciousness, left the hospital without even having time to take care of himself. Then, he called Huang, who was supposed to meet him, but he noticed Kang-ho and Mi-joo's relationship and refused the meeting. In response, Youngsoon immediately went to Mijoo and showed her upset heart. He blamed Huang for reversing his marriage because of Mijoo, saying, "Why do you always block Kangho's way?" Mr. Jung (Kang Mal-geum), who was listening to the conversation between the two, could not stand it and stepped in front of Young-soon. Thinking of Mi-joo, the youngest daughter who had given birth and raised her children alone without being able to reveal the truth to Kang-ho, Ms. Jeong felt the same way. However, knowing how precious Kang-ho is to Yeong-soon, Mr. Jeong swallowed his words and turned around.
While Kang-ho was grieving over his sick mother, Sam-shik (played by Yoo In-soo) came to him with a suspicious smell. While trying to raise money by secretly selling a luxury bag that Young-soon gave to Mr. Park (Seo Yi-sook) as a gift, he found a genetic test result sheet and an SD card hidden from the traces of the stitching on the inside of the bag. The bag was a gift from Kang-ho to Young-soon before the accident, and it also hid clues of revenge. Kang-ho didn't remember this time either, but he accidentally found out the SD card's password and listened to the mysterious recording file with Sam-shik. It was Kang-ho secretly recorded the conversation between Tae-su (played by Jung Woong-in) and Woo-byeok (played by Choi Moo-seong).
Through this, Sam-shik learned that the genetic test results belonged to presidential candidate Oh Tae-soo, and that Kang-ho was also intertwined with the death of Su-hyeon (Ki Eun-se). Sam-shik went straight to Seoul, telling Kang-ho that he would find out the inside story of the case instead. After visiting Tae-soo's house, he tried to approach Ha-yeong (played by Hong Bira). Sam-sik, who succeeded in meeting by faking a contact accident, pushed Ha-young with the genetic test result and the recording file containing Tae-soo's secret. Sam-shik, whose goal was money from the beginning, demanded 200 million won using this as an excuse. Ha-yeong, who had been ignoring him, changed her attitude when she heard Kang-ho's name. However, Sam-sik, who was supposed to meet again an hour later, was caught by Tae-soo and his gang, and with the help of the small chief (Choi Soon-jin) and assistant manager Cha (Park Cheon-min), he barely survived the crisis.
The time left for Youngsoon was not long. I felt impatient when I thought of Kang-ho, who would one day be left alone in a world without confidence. Youngsoon's sincere words, "Even though I'm happy with my son, every second of my mother is too precious" while hugging Kang-ho, who begged him not to go and to go a little slower, made the audience feel moved. Also, he apologized for visiting Jeong and saying hurtful things to Mi-joo. In front of Kang-ho, Young-soon's miserable life, shedding the tears she had endured, and hugging Jeong-ssi, made even the viewers feel sorry for them. But the misfortune did not end there. A fire broke out at the pig farm in the middle of the night and the flames spread quickly. Youngsoon escaped through the window with Kangho's help. Then, the moment Kang-ho hung halfway over the window, there was a huge flame and a great roar. The second explosion knocked Kang-ho unconscious. At the crossroads of life and death, Kang-ho opened his eyes as he recalled the situation right before the truck accident.
The 11th viewer rating was 10.3% nationwide and 10.6% in the metropolitan area (Nielsen Korea, based on paid households), breaking its own record for 6 consecutive episodes and taking first place in the same time period.
