'Drugs 30 times, provided by others' Don Spike, today (15th) 2nd trial... Will I be arrested in court?
Attention is focusing on whether composer Don Spike (46, real name Kim Min-soo), who is on trial for drug use, will be arrested in court.

On the 15th, at 10:00 am, the second trial for Don Spike will be held at the hearing of the 3rd Criminal Division of the Seoul High Court (Chief Judge Lee Chang-hyung, Lee Jae-chan, Nam Ki-jeong).

Previously, in the second trial decision trial, the prosecution asked for 5 years in prison for Don Spike, saying, "The defendant took drugs about 30 times until he was arrested and possessed an amount that could be administered more than 3,000 times. Even though he was in the same position, he provided drugs to other people and took them together."

If the judge accepts the prosecution's sentence, Don Spike will be imprisoned in court and imprisoned in a detention center to pay for his crime.

Previously, Don Spike was arrested and indicted in October of last year on charges of buying 45 million won worth of methamphetamine on nine occasions from the end of 2021 and administering it 14 times. He is also accused of handing over meth and ecstasy to other people 7 times and possessing 20 grams of meth. This amounts to about 667 doses based on the usual dose of methamphetamine (0.03g).

The first trial sentenced Don Spike to three years in prison and five years probation. At the time, the judge explained the reason for the suspension of execution, saying, "It seems that social ties have been formed to deter recidivism, such as family and people around them pleading for mercy."

In this regard, in the case of Don Spike, it was pointed out that the level of punishment was too weak considering the fact that he did not do drugs himself, but the crime that involved others, and his social influence as a celebrity.

Recently, the entertainment industry has been stained with drug allegations against several celebrities. Actor Yoo Ah-in, singer Nam Tae-hyun from group Winner, and influencer Seo Min-jae from Channel A's 'Heart Signal' have all been accused of taking drugs.
