Actor Park Kyu-young revealed that he spoke every day with Lee Chung-ah, who he worked with in the Netflix series 'Celebrity'.
On the morning of the 26th, the Netflix series 'Celebrity' production presentation was held at the Naru Ballroom on the 2nd floor of MGallery Naru Hotel in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Actors Park Kyu-young, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Chung-ah, Lee Dong-gun, Jeon Hyo-seong and director Kim Cheol-gyu attended the event.
'Celebrity' is the story of Ari (played by Park Kyu-young), who jumped into the world of money by becoming famous, and depicts the colorful and fierce faces of celebrities. We plan to unravel the exciting story of SNS, which is very close to our daily lives, and the influencers who reign there as emerging aristocrats.
In the play, Park Gyu-young takes on the role of Ari. Ari is a person who gives up going to college due to her father's business failure and lives as a hard worker. He accidentally meets Min-hye, a high school friend who became a famous influencer, and steps into the world of social media.
On this day, Park Gyu-young said, "I am grateful to be able to appear in the work of director Kim Cheol-gyu, whom I respect. A lot of information is pouring in through SNS. I think it's a story that accurately shows both light and dark at the same time. I've come to show a character who goes through various emotional changes."
It is Park Gyu-young who shows the appearance of the 3rd stage in the play. He said, "It shows the appearance of an ordinary office worker, a top influencer, and a darkening Ari in a live broadcast. I think the emotional changes are also detailed in between them. It will be fun to see the styling changes according to the 3 steps." We show a lot of new sides that we haven’t shown before.”
Park Kyu-young explained, "I can share the changes in the situation in detail. Since I am a person whose condition changes frequently, my emotions have changed in detail. In that process, there were many areas where I needed the director. I received a lot of help." He said he talked to Lee Cheong-ah every day. Park Gyu-young said, “It has been extended, so I can easily do it for 2 hours recently.” Hearing this, Kang Min-hyuk brought laughter by saying, “When I call, he always speaks on the phone.”
'Celebrity' will be released in 190 countries around the world through Netflix on the 30th.
