Hosted by the Jersey City Philharmonic Orchestra (JCPO), a splendid festival that exudes the charm of K-pop in the United States, the 'K-POP' DAY' festival has been confirmed to be held in the United States.
The festival, which starts under the name of 'K-POP in USA 2023, WE STAND', will feature K-POP groups Dreamcatcher, CIX and ONEUS on August 4, 2023 in Houston, Texas and August 6. They will present a rich performance along with a splendid stage at Overpeck Park, Ridge Field Park, New Jersey.
Jersey City, a key city in New Jersey, is also the first city in the US to officially designate 'K-POP DAY'. In particular, in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the ROK-US alliance this year, Michael McCall, chairman of the US House Foreign Relations Committee, even sponsored the performance, focusing on promoting friendship between the US and Korea.
This festival, which will provide an opportunity to widely publicize the charm of the Korean music industry, is scheduled to be held every year, and the stage held on August 6 in New Jersey will be broadcast live online to provide an opportunity to share with fans around the world.
