K-pop boy band Super Junior’s exclusive world tour “Super Show 4″ will be screened in Korean theaters in 3D-format in August.
The boys’ agency SM Entertainment said through a press release on Monday that the movie will be released in 30 theaters on August 8.
The film will cover the group’s first world tour that swept through Osaka, Taipei, Singapore, Macau, Bangkok, Paris, Shanghai, Jakarta, Tokyo and finally Seoul last May, the agency added. The film will also include the group’s encore concert in Seoul.
This will be the group’s second time to show their concert in movie format and comes after the success of “Super Show 3 3D,” which covered the group’s Asia tour. The film was released in 16 Korean theaters and sold around 14,600 tickets after its release in February 2011.
Meanwhile, the group recently released a “Super Junior World Tour ‘Super Show 4′” live album in June.
The group is currently on their next world tour named “Super Junior World Tour ‘Super Show 5,’” which started in Seoul in March. The group stopped by countries in South America and is currently touring Asia until October.
