Korean actor Ji Sung and actress Hwang Jung-eum have been cast in a new KBS drama, their agencies said on Tuesday.

Ji Sung’s agency Namoo Actors and Hwang’s agency Sidus HQ said through a press release that the two will play lovers in a new KBS drama titled “Secret” (translated title) which will premiere in September after Uhm Tae-woong’s martial arts drama ““The Blade and Petal” ends its run.

The melodrama will center on a man falling in love with a woman who murdered his former girlfriend, the agencies added. Here, Ji Sung will play a bad boy who has everything in the world except good character while Hwang will play a innocent yet unyielding woman.

This will be Hwang’s return to the small screen for the first time since SBS drama “Incarnation of Money” in April and she will also be in a film titled “A Girl like a Pig” (translated title), set to premiere later this year, alongside actor Lee Jong-hyuk.

Ji Sung has been in numerous dramas and films including romantic comedy film “Whatcha Wearin” and thriller film “Blood Rain.” He will get married to actress Lee Bo-young on September 27.
