Korean actress Han Ji-min and actor Jung Jae-young will bring an unpredictable love story to the big screen.
Han and Jung have been cast in upcoming film “Plan Man” [translated title], which is set to crank in late June and open in the first half of 2014, the pic’s distributor Lotte Entertainment said in a press release on Friday.
The romantic comedy centers around a methodical man named Jung-seok [Jung], who plans everything in detail and considers his repetitive daily life the best. This man of obsession comes to change after an accidental encounter with a woman named So-jeong [Han].
Han, 30, gained public recognition in hit TV series “Resurrection” in 2005 and impressed audiences in MBC historic drama “Yi San” and jTBC romance fantasy “Padam Padam.” The actress co-starred with Park Yuchun in hit TV series “Rooftop Prince” last year.
Jung, 42, started his career as a stage actor in 1996 and took his first major role five years later in comedy action pic “Guns & Talks,” co-starring Won Bin and Shin Ha-kyun. The veteran film actor was the counterpart to Park Si-hoo’s latest film “Confession of Murder.”
