K-pop band FTISLAND has wrapped up their year-long Asia tour in Hong Kong over the weekend.
The group has rounded off their successful Asia tour “TAKE FTISLAND” at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong on Saturday, their agency FNC Media said through a press release Monday.
Kicked off in Seoul last September, their musical journey hit the road to seven cities in five Asian countries including Taiwan last December, China this January and April, marking it a grand finale in Hong Kong.
During the concert where its all 4,000 tickets were all sold out, the group performed their hit tunes “FREEDOM,” “LIFE,” “Time To,” “PAPER PLANE,” “Compass” and “Black Chocolate,” which of them are mostly the group’s self-written songs.
For member Song Seung-hyun whose birthday is coming on Wednesday, fans put on a birthday sign for him and some fans brought card celebrating his birthday. They also moved the members holding a big sign saying “FT ROCK! NEVER STOP” during the last song.
The group is set to release their new Japan album “THE SINGLES COLLECTION” on September 18 and will be having a concert in Seoul on September 28 and 29.
