Actor Lee Kwang-soo has decided to star in a drama film starring Ji Sung and Ju Ji-hoon.
Lee has been cast in new movie “Good Friends” (translated title) and is to begin filming next month, his agency King Kong Entertainment said on Wednesday.
The “Goddess of Fire” star will turn loyal man named Min-soo, who has tender heart yet lives by loyalty to his two best friends who are just like family members. The three ‘Goodfellas’ are later embroiled in unintended crime and go through conflict in their strong friendship.
“I was fascinated to the film about deep friendship of men, and the scenario was so interesting that I read it all at once, which made me attached to Min-soo’s character,” Lee was quoted as saying.
Produced by Opus Pictures, the veteran producing company which created box office hits “Snowpiercer” and “The Man from Nowhere,” the upcoming film is grabbing attention to the authentic ‘Bromance’ of the three actors.
