Beloved Korean actor Song Joong-ki has held his last fan meeting before he enters the military next Tuesday.
Song shared precious moments with his official fan club “Ki Alie” members, who were over 1,400 fans from Korea, Japan, China, France and other countries, at the Sangmyung Art Center in Seoul on Saturday, his agency Blossom Entertainment said in a press release Monday.
While the fan meeting was mostly about spending time with fans, Song’s star friends including TVXQ! MAX Changmin, Yu A-in and “Running Man” stars Kim Jong-kook, Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Gary and Lee Kwang-soo sent video clips wishing him to do well during the military duty and spend good times with fans.
Song’s actor friend Zo In-sung even made a surprise appearance on stage, which made the soon-to-be-enlisted actor show tears of joy.
The two handsome stars have known each other since they starred in film “A Frozen Flower” in 2008, and helped each other’s work as being under the management of the same company Sidus HQ, an official with Blossom Entertainment explained.
They showed off their friendship when Zo said, “It is not easy to talk something in one’s mind but I can talk whatever in my mind to Song easily,” and Song answered back that, “I think Zo and I are walking on the same path. I’m learning a lot from him.”
In the second half of the joyful event, “The Innocent Man” star delivered sincere thoughts on his life that, “I spent my late twenties with huge passion, and I consider it as one of the hottest times of my life……I will not lose my first intention and spread my dream again in my thirties.”
At the end of the fan meeting, the 27-year-old actor read his letters for fans, which made him shed tears again, but wrapped the three-hour-long event successfully by shaking hands with every fan.
Song Joong-ki is entering the military on August 27 to fulfill the mandatory service required of all Korean men. He will enter the 102 drafts located in the city of Chuncheon.
