Korean girl group Girls’ Generation have celebrated the sixth year since their debut.
Monday was the sixth year anniversary of the nine-member girl group and several of the members mentioned the day on their personal SNS accounts.
Yuri posted a photograph of themselves from a concert on her Instagram account, showing the girls smiling brightly while holding up cards that say, “Let’s stay together for a long time.”
Under the photo, Yuri wrote, “Thank you sone. Happy sixth birthday. I miss you.”
Member Jessica wrote, “thanks, happy 6th anniversary to all of u” on her Chinese SNS weibo account, and Sunny posted on her Twitter account, “It’s our 6th anniversary. Thanks for staying by me all the time. I will always try my best. Sone, staff, and our members congratulation a one day ahead!! Girls Generation forever!!”
On their official website, YoonA posted, “Hi sone. It has been six years that I’ve lived as a member of Girls Generation. I think we were able to make it this far because of you who cheer for us. Thank you.”
Having debuted in 2007, Girls’ Generation is one of Korea’s most popular girl groups with a slew of hit songs including “Gee,” “Hoot,” and “I got a boy.”
