Girls’ Generation members Taeyeon, Tiffanny and Sunny have been invited to the L.A. Dodgers’ stadium, their agency said on Tuesday.
SM Entertainment said through a press release that the girls will attend the Dodgers’ Korea Day celebration on July 28.
The girls will sing Korea’s national anthem and also throw the first pitch at the Major League Baseball match for LA Dodgers versus Cincinnati, the agency added.
This year’s Korea Day, hosted by the L.A. branch of the Korea Tourist Service, will be marked by the match between LA Dodgers’ Korean baseball player Ryu and Cincinnati’s Korean baseball player Choo Shin-soo.
After the match, the girls and Ryu Hyun-jin will attend a ceremony where they will be appointed as honorary PR ambassadors for Korean tourism.
This will not be Girls’ Generation’s first time to the stadium however. Tiffany threw the first pitch at the stadium for the game between LA Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks in May.
