Film “My Black Mini-dress,” starring actresses Yoon Eun-hye, Park Han-byul, Cha Ye-ryun and Yoo In-na, is set to hit theaters in late March, according to a press release by the film’s promoter Hi Concept Co., on Wednesday.
Hi Concept, which also disclosed the poster for the movie today, announced the film will be released nationwide starting March 24.
The poster of the upcoming movie features four black mini-dresses, each stylized for the occasions of graduation, marriage, funeral and coming-of-age ceremony, to emphasize the value the black mini-dress holds in modern day society.
The film, based on novelist Kim Min-seo’s 2009 story of the same name, plans to portray the vivid stories of four lively and fashionable girls in their 20s who share a passion for a black mini dresses as well as other hot items to upgrade their styles.
Yoon made her debut as a member in the girl group Baby VOX in 1997. She has appeared in numerous variety shows and entertainment programs after leaving the group in 2005.
She rose to stardom in Korea and throughout Asia after starring in the smash hit TV series “The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince” (MBC, 2007) alongside actor Gong Yoo and in “My Fair Lady” (KBS, 2009) with Yoon Sang-hyun.
Park made her debut in 2002 as a fashion magazine model for CeCi. She made her film debut in 2003 in “Wishing Stairs” and has since appeared in other works such as “Fate,” (2008) “Yoga Academy” (2009) and dramas including “Couple or Trouble” (MBC, 2006) and “Oh! My Lady” (SBS, 2010).
She is also the girlfriend of singer Se7en and once starred as the female lead to the music video for his song “I’m Going Crazy.”
Cha debuted in 2003 through a series of TV commercials has since appeared in several TV series including “Dr. Champ” (SBS, 2010) “Style,” (SBS. 2009) (KBS, 2009) “Star’s Lover,” (SBS, 2008), “Working Mom” (2008) and films including “Muoi: The Legend of a Portrait” (2007) and “Doremipasolrasido,” (2008).
Yoo debuted in 2009 through MBC sitcom “High Kick 2,” film “Fair Love” (2010) and most recently made her name playing one of the main supporting actress in hit drama “Secret Garden” (SBS, 2010).
