Korean soccer player Park Ji-sung and announcer Kim Min-ji have been spotted dating.
Local daily sports paper Sports Seoul on Wednesday released several photographs of the two on a date along the Han River the previous night.
The paper snapped up photos of the two looking happy arm-in-arm while sharing an umbrella in the rain, peering into a phone while sitting side by side, and then getting into the same car.
Park’s rep could not be reached for comment although Korean news agency Yonhap has said he will address the matter during a press conference at the Suwon World Cup Stadium tomorrow morning, originally held for his foundation’s donation ceremony.
SBS, the broadcaster Kim is under, said they do not know anything of the matter.
However, Yonhap quoted Kim’s mother as saying that she was recently told of their relationship by her daughter.
The news comes as a surprise because just a week ago, Park was rumored to be dating actress Kim Sa-rang although both sides strongly denied all related news.
Park, 32, is the midfielder for English club Queens Park Rangers and Kim, 27, hosts shows “Football Amazing Goal!” [translated title], “Live Today” [translated title], and “Capturing the Moment” [translated title].
