K-pop rock band CNBLUE has rocked out Taipei in the very first gig of the group’s first world tour.
The idol quintet embarked on “2013 BLUE MOON World Tour” at Taipei Arena in Taiwan on April 6, marking themselves asthe first Korean rock band to hit the road for a concert tour.
Kickstarting the sold-out show with “Where You Are,” the English-language rock song from the band’s fourth mini-album “Re: Blue,” the foursome kept the excitement by rendering a total of 24 songs to some 11,000 fans.
The band’s frontman Jung Yong-hwa was seen crying after the Taiwanese BOICE [the group’s official fan club’s name] presented thehappy event with picketswhich read “Tawian ♥ CNBLUE.”
Taiwanese idol stars Huang Ren De and Evan Yo, who each took Jung Yong-hwa and Lee Hong-gi’s role in the Taiwanese version of the hit Korean TV series “You’re Beautiful,”attended the gig.
The “Coffee Shop” singers will then hit the road and move on to Singapore Indoor Arena on April 13, and they are also set to heat up Bangkok, Hong Kong, Seoul and Beijing in May.
